Les rewards inclus la suite de Never lose hope.Mattosai a écrit:j'aurais préféré qu'ils fasse une suite
This limited-edition Blu-Ray release is a "High Octane Edition" for a reason. We will be using the same uncompressed HD transfer as the recent Japanese release, but using a BD50 instead of BD25 for a higher bitrate. It will contain both the original Japanese soundtrack and the English dub, plus English subtitles in multicolor, greyscale and SDH variants (or you can watch with no subtitles if you prefer). The disc will not be region-coded, and we can ship it anywhere in the world except for Japan, China and Taiwan.
Here is a list of possible stretch goals. I'd like your advice on the ordering (and if you have bright ideas for new goals, speak up!) My current plan is to always have two stretch goals active, and as each goal is reached, assign a new one. This will allow me to adjust the goals based on how people are backing the project.
The possible stretch goals (and relative costs, which affect the stretch goal increments) are:
-New Sonoda artwork for the Amaray case sleeve (low)
-New Sonoda Riding Bean 4-page manga ministory for the insert (medium); will unlock 3 "Henchman" rewards -- backers will be used as models for character in the manga (and knowing Sonoda, will probably die horribly).
-Commentary Track featuring Mr. Sonoda (high) and 1-2 other Japanese commentators (TBD)
-Expanded Sonoda Riding Bean manga - 8 pages instead of 4; will unlock additional "Henchman" rewards (medium; requires previous goal met).
-Commentary Track with Anime Historian Gilles Poitras (medium)
-Reprint of Riding Bean Manga (in both digital form and in the artbook) - 10 pages (medium; requires manga ministory)
One thing is that we've been seeing a lot of forum comments saying, "oh I really want a new dub of this." [...] but with a lot of this stuff, you know, we don't know, let's say a hundred forum comments really translates to in true demand. [...] We want to make sure there actually is the demand for this in the first place.
[...]
So it's not really looking at fans to help us do something that we couldn't do or couldn't achieve, it's more "hey! If you really want this, almost consider this a preorder."
the 150k is not what it costs us to make it, it's more we benchmarked to get to that number and we think that's pretty reasonable. We're going to be funding the rest of it. We just can't really say how much more or less it is.
Unfortunately a lot of the cost of things like dubbing related or putting things out on Bluray or things like that, a lot of those are locked down via contract, so there's really no way for us to reveal this, the only thing we're saying is that the 150k is not actually the production costs.
