L'expo avait l'air conséquente et avec plein d'originaux. J'aime beaucoup ce genre de pièces avec les gengas (ou là et là) successifs intégrés dans les décors, ça rend super bien.
J'avais jamais vu cette illus par contre. Une première artboard pour le second épisode ?
Et je note l'adresse du YunRinBô, au cas où je repasse un jour à Akiba.

Les 4 courts de la cuvée 2014 sont en cours de diffusion au cinéma, ils devraient pas tarder d'être diffusés à la télé.
Le Shin'ei et le A-1 ont vraiment l'air cool. Curieux aussi de voir le Yoshiura, histoire de savoir si entre ça et Patema il confirme tout le bien que j'aimerais penser de lui.

Je ne sais plus si on a déjà un sujet dédié à LWA2 ou non. Dans le doute...

Nouvelle update du projet pour signaler qu'avec la fin de KLK, LWA2 devrait revenir sur le devant de la scène (juste après les annonces de leurs deux dernières séries TV, je trouve ça cocasse - même si ça ne sera pas leurs bébés comme l'a pu être KLK, bien sûr).

Non y'a pas de sujet sur LWA2 mais bon, y'a t'il besoin d'en faire un second dans ce cas là ? C'est annoncé comme série TV ou ça sera un second OVA ?

Il avait été annoncé que cette image board était un des premier concept art pour l'épisode. J'espère me tromper, mais je pense qu'on voit tous ce qui va se passer...

Les nouveaux concepts arts sont chouettes, je me demandais justement ce que devenais le projet quand j'ai reçu la notification de l'upgrade.

Désormais, il reste plus qu'a attendre les infos dessus en espérant que la seconde OAV sera aussi bonne que la première.

J'ai enfin vu cet anime dont tout le monde parle et effectivement, c'est chouette.
C'est bien foutu, pêchu, etc... Alors oui, niveau scénar ça vole pas haut (^0^), mais c'est cohérent, fluide, ça se laisse regarder avec plaisir et bien entendu, l'animation est au top !

Update relative à la prod sur KS + un image board

Now I believe everyone is eager to know what is going on with the production of LWA2! Some of our fans who followed us to our panels at various events may already know that we have tossed out several drafts of our scenario already. Talk about being picky! Today I would like to announce that after going through countless versions of our scenario, we have finally settled with a plot that we are going to work with!

Currently, the small team at Studio TRIGGER is working on the second episode with a projected completion date of mid 2015. The team will preview Little Witch Acadamia 2 at Anime Matsuri on April 3-5, 2015 with the Director, Yoshinari Yoh present.

Sur le kickstarter la date annoncée a toujours été mars 2015 pour le démat et avril 2015 pour le blu-ray. Et donc on peut visiblement déjà prévoir quelque mois de retard, comme avec tout Kickstarter qui se respecte.

Ça leur fait un début d'année 2015 très occupé si ça se confirme. J'ai du mal aussi à ne pas les imaginer annoncer un report dans quelques mois

Happy holiday seasons and best wishes for the upcoming new year!

At last the physical production for Little Witch Academia 2 (LWA2, title pending) has started in the studio! It is a great pleasure to see Akko and her friends receive the chance to be animated once again. Of course, this would not have been possible without the support of Kick Starter, and most importantly our fans! I would like to once again say my thanks to all of our supporters on behalf of TRIGGER.

In our previous update, we have announced that we have finally came up with a scenario that we are happy to work with. Today I would like to update our backers that our director Yoh Yoshinari is just about finishing up on drawing up the storyboard for our new episode! If all goes well, we should have a completed storyboard by this weekend! Below is couple of image from the previous LWA’s storyboard. As much as we would like to show the current storyboard, we have concluded that it is best to not spoil the story.

With the storyboard just a moment away from completion, the studio is making final preparation to animating the project! Just a night ago, we had our first Saku-uchi (industry lingo for animator’s meeting with the director to get consensus with each other.) At the current rate of process, we are hoping to finish the project around May 2015. Still a long way to go, but we will do our best to keep our backers informed with the latest information regarding LWA2!

For starters, we would like to start the year by sending out our first bunch of surveys for the rewards! While the shipping date is still pending at the moment, we would like to start early to make sure that the rewards will safely arrive to your doorsteps.

We also have a small holiday gift from TRIGGER! We have made the first episode of Little Witch Academia available once again on Youtube for a limited time (roughly 24 hours) for everyone to enjoy! (you can access the stream from the link below)

Studio Trigger is proud to announce that the first official website and teaser image for Little Witch Academia the Enchanted Parade is ready to launch next week!

Did you just casually announce the title for our long awaited sequel as well? I think we just did! But that is not it!! To celebrate the upcoming launch of the website, we are distributing the teaser visual as wallpaper, exclusive to our backers!

Ils ont visiblement abandonné l'idée d'une histoire centrée sur Akko qui se fait virer de l'école, c'est pas pour me déplaire. Et cette dernière semble avoir conservé la Shinny Rod.

T'as enfin laissé tomber cette illustration sortie d'on ne sait ou qui n'indiquait rien pour tes prévisions, du coup.
Enfin elle peut toujours se faire virer à la fin.

Elle est tout ce qu'il y a de plus officielle/légitime/Yoshianri, hein Et il y a marqué que c'est un image board en bas à gauche.
Ensuite je suis le premier à me réjouir que ça parte dans une autre direction. Les scénarios de type "machin se fait renvoyer" tendent à vraiment tous sortir du même moule, quand un épisode appelé "la parade enchantée" promet ce que la série a de mieux pour elle : proposer de l'émerveillement.

Je vois surtout le gros watermark AmiAmi en fait.

On verra ce que ça donne, si ça dure vraiment 40 minutes... ou alors c'est une très grosse parade.

To make the film available to a wider audience, Little Witch Academia was made available on Youtube with English subtitles.

Joli façon d'expliquer le succès en occident en faisant abstraction des fansubs dérangeants. Je sais pas si c'était calculé mais c'est vraiment du pain béni pour les dossiers de presse ou à destination des investisseurs.

LWA Production report: New characters!


Hello everyone!
With our new animation series Ninja Slayer starting later this week, work here at the studio has been quite busy. The fact that we made an excursion last week to attend Anime Matsuri to have a TRIGGER panel did not really help with the schedule for LWA either... Sorry! We thought we would be finished by spring initially... However, I do believe that the director received the much needed break, and the opportunity to get in touch with his fans resulted in a refreshing experience.

Okay, so enough with the excuses, since we made a visit to Anime Matsuri to hold a LWA panel, I thought it would only be fair if I shared the same contents with our backers as well!
First, I would like to share our backers with a short clip we showed at the event! (New clips are available at the end of the film)

Amanda O’Neill
Amanda loves to dance and party. When it comes to trouble at Luna Nova, you can always find her at the center. Amanda’s itchy fingers makes her a repeat visitor to the academy’s high security archives. Her mischievous ways are only for cheap thrills and are harmless.




Constanze Braunschbank Albrechtsberger
Constanze is another misfit at Luna Nova. She ignores school regulations by smuggling in enchanted hi-tech devices. Constanze sells these magical contrabands to students to earn a small profit.




Jasmineka Antonenko
You’ll always catch Jasmineka, aka Jasna, sneaking a bite during class. Her carefree personality often gets her in trouble and frowned upon by the professors at Luna Nova. Above all else, this kind-hearted girl loves sharing her sweets with others.

Je crois qu'ils essayent de faire passer en douce l'info qu'il va y avoir du retard.
Et les extraits de la seconde OVA sont assez anecdotiques.
